From Off-Broadway to Broadway and everything in between, Janet’s casting assignments have run the gamut from Shakespeare to new works by Sarah Ruhl, Adam Guettel and many others.
Janet currently serves as the full season casting director of CENTERSTAGE in Baltimore, MD and the Westport Country Playhouse in Westport, CT.
Wrapping up the casting for THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST with Irene Lewis at CENTERSTAGE, current projects for the 2009-2010 season include:
- A three-person production of CYRANO directed by David Schweitzer
- A play by Kwame Kwei-Armah, LET THERE BE LOVE, directed by Jeremy Cohen
The Westport Country Playhouse is currently previewing THAT CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON, with the last show of the season going into rehearsal September 4th. Both shows are being directed by Mark Lamos.
In June, Janet cast a radio drama for the BBC. The guardian.co.uk covered the production in August.
